Turnaround & Shipping

You’ve chosen a gorgeous design, personalized the perfect text, approved your proof, and you’re ready to! All that remains is to sit back and wait for your stunning ketubah to arrive at your door. Sound good? Here’s what you need to know so that your beautiful wedding ketubah arrives not only in perfect condition, but in perfect time for your wedding day.

When to order your ketubah. An ideal time-frame for ordering most ketubahs is three or more months before your wedding.

When is the best time to order? Ideally, three or more months before your wedding. Leave even more time for custom or sculptural pieces.

How long does it take? Average turnaround is about six weeks from when an order is placed until the ketubah is shipped.

Turnaround times depend on our workload, and also depend on how quickly you review and approve your ketubah for print.

Turnaround may be a bit longer for Couture ketubahs, highly customized orders, and during peak wedding season (March – September).

To expedite turnaround, please submit your personalization form just after ordering, and review your ketubah proof promptly upon receipt.

Rush Orders. What if you need your ketubah in just a few weeks? For most designs, if you need your ketubah within six weeks, please place your order immediately. Your order will be subject to a rush surcharge.

If you need your ketubah within three weeks, or are ordering a Couture ketubah, please contact us to see if we can accommodate your order. Additional fees may apply.

Delivery. We strive to ship ketubahs at least 7-14 days before your wedding date. In our experience, these time-frames are sufficient for ketubahs to reach their destinations on time.

If you need your ketubah by a certain date prior to your wedding, please let us know when placing your order.

Shipping. Most ketubahs are shipped directly from our studio in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Prints are shipped from our production partner in North Carolina. Most shipments arrive within 2-3 business days. A signature may be required for delivery – please plan accordingly.

Packaging. Heirloom ketubahs are shipped flat in our display-ready folios, with archival-grade clear photo corners to hold the ketubah in place. A crystal clear mylar overlay keeps your ketubah perfectly clean and well-protected, while allowing easy access for signing.
